Roth, 19.08.2003 – Backdated to 01.01.2003 Wilo AG, Dortmund has decided to merge its three German contracting companies: The EMU Wasser- und Abwassertechnik GmbH in Roth, EMU Anlagenbau GmbH in Hof, and EMU Anlagentechnik Nord GmbH in Hamburg with its branch office in Woldegk now operate under the name EMU Anlagenbau GmbH. All previous locations remain in operation. The head office of the company is located in Roth. The management is taken over by Günther Bitzenbauer, so far managing director of EMU Wasser- und Abwassertechnik in Roth, and Carsten Krumm^, managing director of the EMU Unterwasserpumpen GmbH.
“With this merger we are able to offer to our customers tailor-made solutions from one single source – from water supply to sewage drainage installations of any size. We consult, produce and take over the installation of the complete systems.” This is Mr. Bitzenbauers comment to this decision. The company has comprehensive know-how and many years of experience in all these sectors. The competence center for water supply is based in Hof. The EMU staff in Roth are the experts for complete mechanical and electro-technical equipment of sewage treatment plants and sewage pumping stations. In Hamburg they focus on solutions for sewage disposal of individual houses, companies or farms. EMU Anlagenbau GmbH has 57 employees.
