Fixed Aim
The submersible motor technology revolutionized the use of mixers and contributed significantly to make mixing processes more calculable and user friendly. Quality improvements, calculation aids, application technology and system solutions are further criteria for mixing technology.
The submersible mixer design differs from others in its use. The possibility of allowing the flow pulse (propeller) to work from the hydraulically most favourable point minimizes the flow losses. This effect is possible only with the use of submersible mixer technology.
Solution
Generating flow with submersible mixers.
A turbulent free jet is created with a propeller as the mixing organ. The propeller imparts a rotation on this free jet. Vertical currents are also present in addition to the main horizontal flow. The free jet is limited by the bottom and the walls of the basin and follows every basin geometry. The forces required for the mixing process can be calculated, taking into account all parameters which influence the mixing process.
WILO system solutions contain:
– The correct mixer selection for each individual application
– A choice of the installation point for defined basin geometries
– The use of computer expert systems allows low-investment problem solutions with reasonable operating costs to be provided.
