One of the largest cultivable areas for vegetables, grain and industrially used plants in the region is situated on the „Finca Los Charcos“ in Spain, province Albacete.

For the irrigation of this area of more than 1400 hectare a new submersible pump type KM 1302 with a rated power of 425 kW was installed.

The purchase was necessary to secure the irrigation of this important cultivable area, as it was in danger of withering. Because of this new WILO EMU Submersible Pump this critical situation - caused by the break-down of the existing old pumping station - and an imminent crop shortfall due to a water shortage could be avoided.

The owner of the „Finca“ was very satisfied with the new, reliable technique of WILO EMU and the competent execution of the project.
